The FRIENDS of FARC Emergency Assistance Fund

Since September 2010, FARC has been an eyewitness to countless fires that have left hundreds of men, women and children of all ages, homeless. Last month, there were 98 fires in Essex County alone! At each of those events, one could see the destruction of the American dream in the reflection of victim’s eyes.  Having lost everything, they own only the scant clothing they are wearing, they stand frightened and dismayed.

FARC understands the needs and struggles of these victims, which is why we developed an organization that plants the seed of hope and success in the hearts of these victims. From financial donations to washers and driers to emotional guidance, we bring the community together to provide the permanent and temporary assistance natural disaster victims need.

FARC is reaching out to you to ask for your financial support, so that we can continue to provide the vital and important services that we do. Each family that we assist requires a financial outlay of funds to cover the cost of manpower to pickup and deliver the furniture, appliances, clothing and other household items needed for a fire victims economic recovery.

Will you commit to a monthly gift of $25 or more; or a one-time gift of $200 or more to help a family put their life back together again? As a Friend of FARC, you already know the impact of supporting our work, and we thank you for your continued support.
